Poem for a cold, rainy day

I wasn’t inspired by today’s Poem-A-Day challenge from my usual source, so I decided to use my own idea. Because you can never have too many flower haikus.

Jonquils

Against the brick wall,
Bowing their luminous heads;
Cold rain stains the earth.
